After eight years at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, I am now officially back at where it all began, ESA’s European Astronaut Center in Cologne, Germany.
My time at NASA was incredible and I got to work on so many interesting operational tasks for the crew office. Hopefully I can apply that experience to my work at ESA.

One year ago today, we set off from Kennedy Space Center for a six-month mission to the ISS. So many fond memories; so many great stories, all thanks to our remarkable crew.
I hope I get to fly with them in space again.
