No wars. No kings. No ICE.
Zohran ran his campaign like a union organizer—raising expectations, building power, and winning a real mandate. Now he’s delivering.
The Mayor’s support will help us carry that fight forward in Congress for working people. I’m profoundly honored.
Will you stand with @zohrankmamdani and make a donation today?
I’m a union organizer, Assemblymember, and democratic socialist running for Congress in NY-07.
I came to politics through low-wage jobs and the labor movement. That’s the perspective I’ll bring to Washington to take on oligarchy, fascism, and war—and win for working people.
Join us.
Back in Albany with the best crew in the world, comrades who meet the moment always.
This year, we continue to build power for working people, demanding universal childcare, healthcare for all, public renewables + a state where all neighbors are safe. That’s the floor in 2026.
Join us on January 10 as my colleagues in government and other incredible North Brooklyn leaders share the history of Williamsburg and Bushwick!
The best party in town is the New Year’s celebration at @scs4ny! So happy to join again this year for music, dancing, and the ball drop 💃🏻🪩
Here’s to a joyful and healthy 2026 filled with friends, family, community, and solidarity 🎊
No contract? No coffee! Solidarity forever and happy holidays from my family to yours 🪧✨
This Thanksgiving, I’m feeling especially grateful for Queens.
Whether it’s in Ridgewood, serving my neighbors with @rethinkfood and Monkworx, or in Sunnyside dishing stuffing on the line with @scs4ny, I can’t think of a better way to spend this season than with delicious food and our beautiful community. Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias ❤️🦃
For over 30 years, Nydia Velázquez has devoted her life to fighting for the working class, from Puerto Rico to New York to Palestine.
Because of her, an entire generation of new leaders sees what it looks like to truly show up for all communities under attack.
Thank you Nydia for building our movement. The future of New York is bright because of you.

Avoid the lines on Election Day and make your plan to vote early, Queens. Every vote counts in building a democratic socialist New York City.
🌟 Saturday is also the last day to register to vote and request an absentee ballot.
Let’s go bring it home and elect ZOHRAN for MAYOR! 🌹➡️ findmypollsite.vote.nyc
When you come for one of us, you come for ALL of us. ICE is coming into our communities, brutalizing our neighbors. NYC will not stand for it. This city was built by immigrants. They make us stronger. Proud to march against Trump’s fascist deportation machine and stand for liberation and justice for the working people of this city and country.
Proud to stand with labor and my colleagues in government as we make clear that we will fight against all of Trump’s abuses of power, including this baseless, politically motivated attack on NY AG Tish James. HANDS OFF TISH!
CAMBA Legal Services Workers are at the table but management refuses to respond in good faith. Yesterday, I joined alaa2325 on the picket line in solidarity and to demand their right to:
-workload protections
-an accurate cost-of-living adjustment
-a livable wage floor
I will stand with alaa2325 workers as long as it takes to make these demands a reality.
EIGHT days left to elect Zohran for Mayor! 🗳️ We got this New York!

Rolling with Ridgewood Rides yesterday as part of the Complete the Connections campaign! We peddled through Ridgewood and Maspeth to experience firsthand the gaps in our street infrastructure that put cyclists, pedestrians, and motorists in danger. Then we learned how we can connect our neighborhoods and make our streets safe for everyone.
Keep an eye on ridgewoodrides to join in the next one! 🚲
Parks and green space are critical for the health of our communities. Gantry Plaza State Park is a neighborhood treasure and a destination for New Yorkers far beyond Queens. Today for #ILoveMyParkDay — which brings out volunteers across the state to clean up New York Parks and public lands — we celebrated our gorgeous waterfront, shared community space, and weeded the beds to beautify and help prep the park for spring! ☀️🌷TY licwaterfront and @nystateparks!
Tens of thousands of New Yorkers hit the streets for May Day today to say NO to Trump’s cuts to essential programs, NO to the war on workers, NO to the capitalist war machine, and NO to billionaires. Workers make it all. Workers deserve it all. Our time is now, and their time is up.
Free Kilmar, free Mahmoud. Solidarity forever.
On May Day, we remember the long and brutal struggle that everyday people waged for the basic dignities and protections we cherish: an eight-hour workday, a weekend, a living wage. And we remember the words of August Spies, one of the union organizers hanged following the Haymarket Riot, who said of the labor movement: “It is a subterranean fire. You cannot put it out.”
I am proud to carry this fire with you on May Day and every day. See you in the streets tomorrow New York. ✊🏽
Jazz fun for the whole family at Windjammer today, one of three satellite locations throughout Ridgewood participating in Ridgewood Jazz Festival. Thank you ridgewoodjazz for inviting Team Claire!
It was an honor to join the dedication of the John R. Ries and Helen Ries Memorial Picnic Grove at the Vander Ende - Onderdonk House this past weekend. Helen passed away last year at age 99, and hearing the stories from her friends, family, and fellow Greater Ridgewood Historical Society volunteers made it clear she was an unparalleled champion for our neighborhood and a gifted storyteller of Ridgewood’s past.
Our union-busting scab of a president is selling out the working class so his billionaire pals can gut the public sector to make a profit off of it. We won’t stand for it. My statement on Trump’s executive order to end collective bargaining for 700,000 federal workers.
In honor of Women’s History month, the New York State Legislative women’s caucus asked members to nominate an exceptional woman from our individual districts. My nominee for AD-37, Rosamond Gianutsos, needs no introduction. She’s an executive board member of Queens CB2, a streets safety icon, and champion for pedestrians and cyclists. 👑 It’s a privilege to nominate her and to call her a friend.
