Just saw a very few minutes of Trump’s so-called Cabinet meeting…a very few minutes because that’s as much as my nerves and stomach can handle! He lies about everything then more lies about how great everything is in the other USA that only exists in his diseased brain. Of course, they sit around the table seemingly uncomfortable and unable to make eye contact with anyone. What a sad lot they are, not a brave heart or a hint of shame to be found! Sickening wimps!

The vital role of “comforter in chief” in my 76 years has always been filled by the president, no matter the politics, with the exception of DJT. He has no regard for the feelings of others because his first reaction is unfailingly looking for someone to blame. President Truman famously had a plaque on his desk saying “The Buck Stops Here,” but can anyone imagine the current occupant being that kind of leader? We have had flawed presidents in the past, but he makes the rest seem heroic.

I do believe that the sharks are beginning to circle Deadwood Donnie, but my optimism is restrained by how long we must wait for exit. When he is finally impeached Vance should go down with him because no one wants him to be president. He would pardon Trump and continue his corruption. It will, of course, take years to try and repair the damage he’s inflicted along with his minions and enablers. There will be much to do to restore the trust and alliances we once took for granted.

So now Trump is freeing Santos…seems he thought his punishment was too severe for lying in ways that only Trump can understand. While he admitted Santos “lies a lot,” he’s always supported Trump. My question is, how does he know this is true? How did he decide this convicted liar hasn’t lied about supporting him? It’s like the rest of us feel about Trump. Birds of a feather, I guess.
