After more than three months on the picket line, Molson Coors Teamsters in Fort Worth, Texas, voted today to ratify a new three-year agreement. The contract secures wage increases, improves benefits, and restores retiree health care.
Throughout the strike, Teamsters launched a nationwide boycott, putting pressure on the brewery giant to reach an agreement covering 420 workers at the Texas facility.

Negotiations with Anheuser-Busch came to a halt last week when the company refused to make progress on restoring medical and prescription benefits for retired Teamsters even as executives pad the pockets of Wall Street investors. Anheuser-Busch must agree to fund the restoration of retiree benefits for hundreds of retired Anheuser-Busch Teamsters who pay extra for a subpar medical plan.

CHIPOTLE TEAMSTERS RALLY IN LANSING TO DEMAND A FAIR CONTRACT
Teamsters Local 243 members at Chipotle in Lansing rallied on Friday to demand a fair contract from the multibillion-dollar fast casual giant that hauled in more than $8 billion last year.

“Chipotle’s corporate management needs to come back to the table and bargain with the Teamsters,” said Scott Quenneville, President of Local 243. “We’ve been in negotiations for over a year. The company has said to us across the table that our members — Chipotle’s workers — will never have a voice in their contract. Now, we’ve got a message for Chipotle — the Teamsters aren’t going anywhere. Teamsters fight, and that’s exactly what we’re going to keep doing in Michigan.”

TEAMSTERS AIRLINE DIVISION HOSTS CRASH INVESTIGATION TRAINING
Pilots, flight attendants and mechanics hosted the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Crash Investigation and Bloodborne Pathogen Training on November 1 and 2 in Louisville, KY. The training, provided by the Teamsters Airline Division, was led by aviation safety experts John Goglia and Greg Feith.

Faced with Anheuser-Busch’s greed and disrespect, the Teamsters Anheuser-Busch National Negotiating Committee walked out of negotiations and will return once the company meets its members’ critical demands. The current five-year agreement expires Feb. 29, 2024.

@nlrbgov General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo is continuing her track record as a steadfast and fearless enforcer of workers’ rights as NLRB General Counsel. Last week, she sent out a statement to the federal labor board’s staff regarding enforcement of the CEMEX decision.

The CEMEX decision was a landmark NLRB case decided earlier this year as a result of that employer’s egregiously unlawful behavior during an election the workers had to join the Teamsters. It imposed a new policy whereby all employers will now be required to bargain with a union if the employer commits labor law violations that compromise the legitimacy of an election’s outcome. Previously, the remedy was to order a re-run election.

KENTUCKY TEAMSTERS RALLY FOR GOVERNOR BESHEAR
Ahead of tomorrow's election, Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman, Teamsters Local 89, Joint Council 94, and UPSers welcomed Kentucky @govandybeshear and Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman to a UPS facility in Louisville last week. Teamsters and the Beshear campaign started the day bright and early to greet workers during the morning shift change.

“Let me tell you how important Governor Beshear was for us in the UPS contract fight. He was one of only two governors in the country that stood with us and signed a letter saying that he would support the Teamsters in the event the Teamsters went on strike to get a good contract,” said Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman. “These are the people we need to represent us in Kentucky.”

Amazon drivers in Palmdale, CA have been on strike for nearly five months, holding the line against Amazon’s unfair labor practices, low pay, and dangerous working conditions while trying to support their families.
